This is the original HeyMrTamMan Bridge Links website, built during 1997-2001. Since then it has been archived at The Wayback Machine.

The original idea was to create an online bridge encyclopedia. A decade ago online bridge was just getting off the ground. Little reliable online information on bridge existed. Impromptu Yahoo! "tourneys" gave way to The Zone and other organized tournaments hosted by talented peers and even a few ACBL directors. As tournaments became popular, the spectrum of systems widened. And from social lounge Goren to tournament SAYC, Two-Over-One, and Precision, familiar discussions of bidding began to occupy the tables.

So an emphasis on bidding developed as the site grew. I provided links to as many good online articles as I could find. In addition, many friends contributed articles and serious summaries of their preferred bidding systems. In cases where no online source or contributor could be located, I filled in the gaps with original articles.

And now I think I have a lot of catching up to do!
